Join us every Thursday 6-8pm at Prevail Junior for skateboarding lessons with The Happy Skateboarder School!

These lessons are perfect for women of all ages looking to get on a skateboard for the first time, hone their skills on the pump track or even master a new trick on the half pipe. 

The team at The Happy Skateboarder School have created a super safe and welcoming environment. Lessons are run by Skateboard GB qualified coaches and are DBS checked, fully insured and NSPCC certified.

Equipment can be provided, including skateboards, helmets and pads. The lesson costs £10pp for 2 hours plus £5 for entry to Prevail Jr, please book your session in advance here. 

You can use the Water Babes skate group chat to let people know you’re attending so even if arriving alone, you will leave with friends!


Skate with us on the first Friday of every month at Prevail Jr Ladies Night. 

This skate social is best suited to those who have some skating experience and equipment. It is open to all ages from 8 years* and hosted by Prevail Junior - home to indoor pump track and mini ramp.

Our aim is to create a welcoming community so you know, even if arriving alone, you will leave with friends! Use our group chat to keep up to date and let people know you’re attending.

The event starts at 6pm and you can choose to skate for 2 or 3 hours. There is no additional cost to skate with us but you must pay standard entry fee - find out prices and more details here.
